service staff to assist them with all aspects of purchasing a four-wheel drive vehicle.
In
addition, a team of 4x4 expert technicians will be fully trained and qualified to service
all Land Rover
models. A unique feature of the Centre will be an
off-road demonstration track for use on test drives.
Despite the fact that fewer than 10 percent of most other
sport utilities ever leave the pavement, our Land Rover Centre encourages customers to
learn four-wheel-drive skills and techniques and to explore their local off-road areas.
The Albuquerque Centre features a 165 foot off-road
test track, with a very steep pitch to demonstrate hill-climbing, a 35 degree side tilt
and obstacles like a 12 inch boulder in the track to demonstrate wheel articulation.
Once enticed into the off-roading arena, customers are
invited to participate in regular off-road driving clinics and outings.
Centre employees are off-road enthusiasts themselves and
understand four-wheel drive vehicles and the four-wheel drive lifestyle. We recently
guided twenty Land Rover owners driving a wide variety of models on an
all day excursion to the mountains north of Cochiti
Reservoir.
